Happy Easter Baskets

Oh my goodness! I am on holiday and yet it seems busier than ever. Tonight I have hurriedly put together six Easter baskets for my grandchildren. They were quite quick and easy to make with the Berry Basket Die.
Their parents aren't too keen on them having too many treats (trying to avoid tooth decay) so this way, Grandma feels like she's given a treat, and hopefully the kiddies will be satisfied too. We will see three of them tomorrow, before we head off for a couple of days staying with family out of town. It's been quite a while since we've seen the three out-of-towners, so it will be nice to spend some time with them.

I cut six different colours using the Berry Basket Die for the baskets, and co-ordinated the bunny or chick from Cheerful Critters for a label. I knew when I ordered that stamp it would be great for birthdays, babies and Easter! I've coloured them with the Stampin' Write Markers. I used two stamps from Crazy About You for one greeting and Hippity-Hoppity is from And Many More. Both these stamp sets have oodles of sentiments!

I do hope that this weekend sees you having some enjoyable times with family and friends also.

Now that SALE-A-Bration has finished, Stampin' Up have another promotion which may be worth looking into if any of these products are on your 'wish list'. This is only from the 1st-17th April, do remember that you can order any time of the day or night with online shopping and delivery starts at $5.95 anywhere in Australia. The hostess code for this month is 6MGVWWGH

There have been a number of products unavailable recently, for several reasons. Firstly, there has been a higher than expected demand for some accessories. Secondly, there has been industrial action at the West Coast ports of the USA, which, although resolved now, means that there is a backlog of product to be shipped. Lastly, there were efforts made to air freight product produced in China, direct from there, but Chinese New Year had an impact on that arrangement. Stamps are manufactured in the US. Sometimes when you place an order, you will be asked if you would like the item to be placed on backorder. If you take this option, the items will ship to you when available with no additional shipping cost. When there is a big backlog of a particular item, Stampin' Up! have turned the item code off temporarily, until they can get the situation under control. Hopefully this will be soon.

Cheers
Rachel
