Happy Umpteenth Birthday SUO#119 & Cas On Sunday#55

Today I have tried an Easel Card to meet the 'Fun Folds' challenge at SUO Challenges and used numbers as suggested by CAS on Sunday.

Happy Umpteenth Birthday is a cute sentiment, and lends itself to layering. Because it's ambiguous, I used an assortment of numbers from two different stamp sets. One is current, Memorable Moments, the other, 25 Days, was in the last Holiday catalogue. It could easily be 'tuned' to suit the birthday by raising up the appropriate number.

Smokey Slate is the base and Blushing Bride features along with Pistachio Pudding (soft green) and Crisp Cantaloupe (soft apricot) They are part of the In Colors which retire in June. I'm sorry to see them go and have already stocked up on card and re-inkers for my stamp pads. Think I'd best get some 12" x 12" card too, to make box envelopes for these easel cards!

Deco Label Framelits came in handy for cutting the opening because it matches perfectly with Oh My Goodies. They are paired for a bonus bundle at 15% off from April 1st until 17th April. It's actually $62.81 for the clear bundle and $73.01 for the wood mount bundle, not the prices shown below. If you click on the link, you'll see it is correct in the online shop.

Cheers,
Rachel
