Fruit & Ice-cream Swirl

This card was one the community group I work with made as one of their classes and as it also featured Pecan Pie, it seems appropriate to share it here today.

With a fruity-theme paper it seemed to me that an ice cream was the way to go and pulled Ice Cream Swirl from the shelf. The die cut cones have some authentic markings that mean there is no need to stamp and what about that swirl of ice cream on top?

The sentiment has also been stamped in Pecan Pie before fruity pieces, fussy cut from the SALE-A-Bration free pick Fruit Salad 6" X 6" DSP. I've been making good use of To the Point Label Punch too as it's a good size for many of my sentiment stamps.

A 'stack and slash' technique using 3 pieces of card front size DSP cut in 2 places to make 3 irregular triangles that fit together like a puzzle was a great way to really turn the Fruit Salad paper into a fruit salad!!!

SHOP:

Ice Cream Swirl stamp set - 162764 - $42

Ice Cream Swirl dies - 162770 - $61

All products used to make these cards are Stampin' Up! and are available in my online store or contact me to find out more details.
It is a good time to shop during February as SALE-A-Bration continues until the 28th where you earn free product with every $100 increment of your order, so one stamp/die bundle will usually get you there, but it is also a good time to stock up on the basics like card and glue.

If you purchase this before the end of February (only 5 more days) you can add the Fruit Salad DSP to you order for free before you check out.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.
