AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week16- Calypso Coral

Contributors to this blog hop are all members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart group. Every Wednesday night at 8p.m AEST we feature a fabulous Stampin' Up! colour, in alphabetical order.

Week 16 brings Calypso Coral to the forefront and I have paired it with Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.

Recently I presented a class using only Online Exclusives and Irresistible Blooms was one set used. For this reason alone, I have used it again to show off Calypso Coral, these flowers are really bold & beautiful.

You may be wondering about the die cut piece behind the flowers. The inside part of it comes from Irresistible Blooms dies, it usually cuts out an opening in the card. I found that the large circles from Spotlight on Nature dies can cut it out, making it doubly useful!

Our next talented Art With Heart team member is the lovely Andrea Sargent.

If at any time you find a broken link or would like to see a full list of participants, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor.

Happy crafting,

  1. Rachel, your colour combination of Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive is so soft and feminine! I love your clever hack using the Spotlight on Nature dies to cut out the inside part of the Irresistible Blooms die. What a beautiful card.

  2. I just LOVE this card, Rachel. This is a neglected bundle in my collection, but you have inspired me to dig it out. What a happy discovery, with the Spotlight on Nature Dies ... that circular frame is really beautiful.
