The multi-lingual texture embossing folders are favourites of mine. This one is Thanks from the Thanks & Hello duo. Stylish Shapes dies are another basic item you must have.
Flowering Tulips was my chosen stamp set this week and this is my time-saving tip. If you are stamping flowers in the same colour, mount them on the same block to stamp at the one time.
If you position them far enough apart, you can also die cut them at the same time. I stamp and die cut multiples to create bouquets, or single blooms like here.

Rachel, I have to laugh! I also discovered this week that die cutting squares after adding layers flattens the layers out – I didn't have time to start again so the layers on my cards are very flat. Thanks for the time saving tip for stamping and die cutting more than one flower. I love the layout and colour combination of your cards.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun colour combo, Rachel (it brought to mind lollipop, or bubblegum, colours). Yes, I've learnt the hard way to die cut a shape first, then dry-emboss it! Great tip, for stamping and die-cutting the tulips - thanks. Your cards are lovely. x
ReplyDeleteOooh, these are wonderful! Such a simple, but gorgeously effective design. I love them so much. Great tips for the stamping and die cutting. I never seem to stamp them far enough apart to cut in one go!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous set of cards Rachel. I love this layout with the embossed squares, the single stem tulip and the die cut sentiment. Using the ‘Thanks’ EF to reinforce the sentiment is great. Xxx

ReplyDeleteSuch a striking card Rachel. Love the colour combo. Ditto to the remember to die cut first then emboss. I did the same lol!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun colours for your thank you cards, Rachel. This is great layout for mass producing cards and the sentiment looks great too!
