Selective Masking

Today on Facebook I shared a selective masking technique. This involved using Picture This dies to cut a mask into a sheet of the new masking paper, which you'll find on page 149 of the annual catalogue.

This time I used the circles and stamped with the text stamp in Artfully Layered. This stamp set is about to retire at the end of June, along with the dies and patterned paper - Artfully Composed DSP. The paper is selling at a big saving of $14, the stamp set is $37.80 and the dies are down to $42.70. There are links at the end of the post to allow you to take a closer look in my shop.

The card with pennants is the one that started this, I was trying to make something different for a son whose birthday is next week. Since he's getting a couple of tickets to Hamilton, I tried to indicate theatre tickets on the die cut ticket. Since you don't receive actual tickets these days, it makes it a bit more difficult for gift giving.
