The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week nine of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and this week is Blackberry Bliss.
This was a really fun project to use old and new together. The old was Painted Poppies stamped in Old Olive. Still love those pretty poppies though.
The new is Split Card Texture dies, and it's the lattice-like one here, cut from our NEW masking paper. Oh wow! Having a large sheet of masking paper means I don't get random smudges just off the edge where my post-it note runs out!
We made this card in class this month and the ladies LOVED it!
Lovely Kate Morgan follows me this week, let's go see her Blackberry Bliss creation.
If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.
Gorgeous card. I’ll have to try the masking paper after seeing your card!

ReplyDeleteOh wow Rachel what a great way to use the dies and masking paper and I love the effect you have achieved.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love that you tried the masking paper with these dies, Rachel. I thought about it and wondered if it would be easy to place down with all those fine lines. The ombre effect is fantastic and the poppies are a great choice!
ReplyDeleteA delightful card Rachel. The split panel dies are gorgeous and the way you die cut the masking paper and blending over the masking paper is beautiful. Love your colour combo with the poppies. Xxx (Your blog is still insistent on registering me as Anonymous - it kicks me off your sight when I try to register as Andrea.)
