Colour Creations Week 2 Parakeet Party

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This is week two of this round of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and the In Color featured this week is Parakeet Party.

Parakeet = bird = Sweet Songbird. That's the way my mind went for this challenge. Fairly simple card, a little stamping, some punching, Stitched with Whimsy dies on one layer, vellum for another. Busy, busy this week, so very short & sweet - Sweet Songbird sweet.

I'm sure Catherine Proctor will WOW you with her creation.

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

  5. Oh my goodness, just adorable! I love that the bird is cut from stripes. Great idea to use the vellum, it gives the card a lovely soft look.

  9. I love how your cute bird has vertical strips and sits in the nest with horizontal like lines. The contrast is striking.
