Colour Creations Misty Moonlight

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. The colour for week 29 is Misty Moonlight, a much-loved In Color, almost ready to depart the family in May 2022.

To achieve a variation in blues, as in a night sky, I have water colored the paper with a Misty Moonlight ink refill and Water painters onto Fluid 100 watercolor paper.

Once this water coloured piece dried, the die cutting for the 'Give It A Whirl' dies could take place.

I have kept the card fairly basic, as this was my first time using those dies. It is a bonus that cloud and star dies are also included.

The cut out window gives an opportunity to use several sentiments (or pictures) from the stamp set.

We are taking a break from the blog hop until January 5th, when we will return with Mossy Meadow - and the Jan-June mini catalogue will also be available to order from.

  2. What a great card, Rachel. I love your watercoloured background and the lovely effect you've achieved. It really does look like a night sky. I bought these dies and they send fear through me about how to use them. I must give it a go!
