The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.
It's hard to believe that CASE-ing The Catty has been going for 7 years, and I was there at the start. It's great being a part of the team for the friendships we form, and for being encouraged to keep on creating, inspired by the Stampin' Up! catalogue.
The position of the ribbon was shifted from the top of the stamped card. to midway, and is slightly fancier since it is knotted.

The card I chose to CASE this time was the red one in the centre of the picture, but as I do not have this lovely Tidings & Trimmings Bundle yet, Perfectly Plaid was used for the sentiment, and Forever Fern for the other stamped images. The 'art' panel is set fairly much to the lower right in the original, with no layering apart from the DSP so I was CASEing the sketch, as well as the subject matter.
If I am making one Christmas card, I figure it is better to make multiples. We are more likely to send handmade, if they are ready to go. I pulled the six different papers from this pack of Tidings of Christmas DSP, although there are another 6 reverse sides to use as well!
For the next card, a late birthday card, the sketch was the inspiration again, but layers have been added, and the more feminine Hand Penned DSP & Hand Penned Petals stamp. Partial images were stamped at the top and bottom, before colouring with Stampin' Blends.
Forever Fern was pulled off the shelf again to add some splatters, it just needed another touch of Misty Moonlight.
We love you to CASE The Catty too, and share on our Facebook page. Will you make Christmas, or some other occasion? Just use something from pages 88-95 to inspire, then share here.
