Soft Suede is a great neutral, a warmer shade of brown. It is perfect for woodland creatures, tree trunks etc and provides a base to add vibrant colour. Instructions for how to make this card are on the picture of Woodland Wonder on page 53 of the January-June mini catalogue.
It looks like I may have taken some inspiration from the Colour Creations Header as well this time, how funny!!! I didn't even realise until I began to write my post.
For the front of the card, some leftover bright strips of card were laid over Soft Suede DSP, while another tree has been stamped on a strip of white with ink. Colour was moved about with a water colour brush to create the sepia look. Some fussy cutting of the large sentiment helps it to stand out, along with the brightly coloured 'loops'.
The inside of the card has more natural colouring, lightly applied. Such a cute card idea, but Woodland Wonder is NOT carrying over, so if you need it, order before the end of June.
