Colour Creations Showcase _ Real Red

Cathy Proctor is the Art With Heart Team Member who organises the Colour Creations Showcase, and you can see her Real Red project, and link to others by clicking on her name.

When I think of Real Red I think of primary colours, which tends to make me think of children's cards, so I added Mango Melody and Pacific Point to the mix and came up with this.

Moving Along
is a kids stamp set in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. It is photopolymer so very reasonably priced at $30, and a bit of a 'must have' if you have young boys in your life. Even if you have friends with sons, it could be handy.

It's so easy to add colour to these images with the supplied stamps and whatever coloured ink you have in your collection, but of course, we are spotlighting Real Red, so there is the lovely red chopper. I've decided that a fire engine would have been a handy addition to this stamp set, and what about an ambulance too.

The big greeting from 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' (page 103 AC) has been fussy-cut, I'd had the idea to have vehicles poking out from it, but ended up going for a 'cleaner' version.

Don't forget to go back to Cathy Proctor for more inspiration.
