Dragonfly

Very rarely would I order the whole bundle of anything, but given the opportunity to get it all early, back in November, I jumped at the chance to purchase Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I love seeing dragonflies and ladybirds in my garden. Did you know that dragonflies like to feast on mosquitoes at any stage of their lifespan from larvae through to adult, and ladybirds do their best to keep the aphid population down? True friends of the gardener.

The images are simple line drawings which can be left plain as in these samples, or coloured as you please. We have such a great range of colouring tools in our catalogues. Favourites of mine are Stampin' Blends and Watercolour pencils, and you can use sponge daubers, sponge brayers or our very newest Blending brushes, Check them out on page 70 of the mini catalogue. The Mossy Meadow braided linen twine is a great earthy addition to any of your projects and what about the metal ladybirds?

The technique used here is masking and a sponge brayer to colour a panel on the card. Water has been splattered on the tri-colour sample, and the Artistry Blooms sequins are very complementary to these colours.
