CTC#298 CASE An Embossing Folder Project

The Design Crew at CASE-ing the Catty  like to share all the exciting design possibilities included in the pretty catalogue pictures, so you can create amazing cards of your own. CASE stands for 'copy and selectively edit' so you can be inspired by a colour combination, the way the elements are placed on a card, the number of embellishments etc. This week we are inspired by embossing folder projects.

This page in the mini catalogue (P35) totally inspired me to buy the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder, mainly to CASE the beautiful card with gold embossed panel, which I have today - except its gone totally random!!! I've used the same Stitched Circle die, Brushed Metallic Foil and Gilded Gems, but changed out For Unto Us for Dove Of Hope (p13).

No doubt you'll notice the other changes quite easily! Needing to economise a little, I only bought the Dove Of Hope stamp, not the bundle, so I fussy-cut the doves and the sentiment. Now the dies are marked down from $57 to $51.30 in the Giant Year-End Clearout. If you sign up for my newsletter, I will send you an email when specials are offered, as frequently you need to be very quick. The Gnomes have sold out, and I missed many items in the Clearance Rack by delaying ordering by a couple of hours.

When you make one card, you might as well make a few, so I had a mini production line going. How are you getting on with your Christmas creating?
Maybe you have a card, scrapbook page or 3D item inspired by an embossing folder project that you'd like to share too, on our Facebook page.

It's time for the next stop along the hop, the very talented Rebecca is sharing her project.

When you use the HOST CODE MVV3ZA3B and spend $60 you can choose either rhinestones or Jingle Bells as your free gift this month. You can enter my store here or links after my sign off take you to that item in the store.

  1. Your card is so pretty! I love how the Brushed Foil highlights the dove. I agree - this time of year I often make multiples in a mad scramble to have enough cards to send!

  3. Great card. I love how you have used some of the same elements but also changed it up a lot. Great job at the fussy cutting. I normally try to avoid it!
