Embellishments and ribbon

Card #1
CARD #1:
1 card base regular style, scored down the length at 10.6cm and cut across  14.5 (or 14.8cm if you prefer the Australian standard measurement)
A strip of Designer Series Paper,(DSP) this can be any width, but this piece measures around 2cm by 11cm

3 rectangular shapes, punched, die cut or cut from DSP.                                                            Rectangular Postage stamp Punch #152709 $31 OR Stitched So sweetly dies #151690 $56  (bundle with So Sentimental stamps #153828 $84.50 for 10% saving).I used the 2nd smallest rectangle for the above card, measurement is 3 cm X 5.5 cm if you need to cut your 3 shapes.

  1. Decide if you will place the long strip of DSP behind or under your rectangles. Glue down if behind, can be left till later if below.
  2. Position rectangles, beginning with the outer ones, an even distance from the side of card, The middle one is then placed evenly between the other two. These have been glued in place.
  3. Stamp leaves. Your choice if they are all the same, all different or a mix.
  4. Add dimensionals to leaves and arrange on rectangles.
  5. Stamp sentiment, add to card in chosen position.

Card #3

CARD #3
1 card base cut down centre of card at 10.6cm, scored at 14.5cm (or 14.8cm if you don't want to trim strip) Tent or 'A' cut
DSP any size you wish, the one on the left is 4.5cm X 11cm, the other a fraction less
11cm Ribbon, metal ring, die cut leaves.
  1. Decide on position of DSP strip, so you can work out where to stamp the leaves.
  2. Proceed to stamp 5 leaves, 2 each side and one at the tip of paper, stamp splatters.
  3. Attach ribbon, Stampin' seal, Tear n Tape or glue dots work best.
  4. Glue DSP in place, position metal ring and attach with glue dots. These will be hidden by the sentiment banner and the die cut leaves.
  5. Two different shaped sentiment labels have been used to give you ideas on how you can adapt with what you have in your stash. Stamp sentiment and attach.

Card #4

CARD #4
Card Base left folding
matching piece 8.5cm X 12.5cm
White card 8cm X 12 cm + label
DSP 10cm X 14 cm
8cm Ribbon & embellishments

  1. Visualise a centre point, or pencil a dot if it helps and splay the foliage stamps from here. Some will overlap, but try not to stop before it gets too messy.
  2. Ribbon is attached over that central point with Stampin' Seal, Tear n Tape or similar.
  3. Attach stamped panel to its mat, and raise on dimensionals
  4. Stamp sentiment and add to centre of card with dimensionals
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Card #5

CARD #5
Card as in card#3, tent fold
DSP 10cm 6.5cm
Largest Stitched Circle die from DSP, a bit over 7cm or nearly 3"
l leaf from card, another from DSP
Sentiment here is from Peaceful Moments
  1. Adhere the DSP strip a little below the centre point of card.
  2. Die cut leaves, attach to circle, before glueing the arrangement to the strip, up from the bottom slightly and off the strip at the top.
  3. Stamp a banner to fit chosen sentiment, attach with Dimensionals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tent Fold card Base
DSP 8.5cm X 12.5 cm
White card 8cm X 9.5cm
Coloured label to match the DSP - Painted Labels dies #151605 $61 (Bundle with Painted Poppies for 10% saving #153827 $90.75)
Greenery Embossing Folder #152716 $14.00
  1. Stamp some foliage and diecut, plus die cut 2 pieces to co-ordinate with colours from your DSP
  2. If you do not have anything similar to the Painted Labels die cut label, use a plain circle a little larger than your white one holding the sentiment, or leave this step out.
  3. Put the white card through the embossing folder with leaves at the top and bottom. Focus on one end as a lot of this will be hidden. Unlike the photo, perhaps move the embossed piece a little higher.
  4. Arrange the DSP and the embossed piece to your liking. I tilted it as far right at the top and far left at the bottom as it could go, with the white piece fairly straight.
  5. Position the die cut leaves, perhaps placing the larger label next, and then the stamped foliage.
  6. Stamp sentiment and attach the labels, and embellishments.

Card #7

CARD #7
Tent fold card base
Coloured matt 10cm X 14 cm
white panel 9.5cm X 13.5cm
5cm strip of DSP
5.5cm strip of coloured card
  1. Using ink refill or ink from inkpad on an acrylic block, and a water painter brush, give the white panel a wash of colour. No need to fuss too much with this, rough looks good!
  2. Stamp and die cut 4 leaves, and the sentiment. Stamp splatted stamp over the colour wash.
  3. Mount the DSP onto the card, and cut one end on a slant to match the angle you'd like it to be. The other end will be cut after the strip is glued in place.
  4. Attach a piece of ribbon, then the die cut leaves before the sentiment on Dimensionals.
  5. Finish with embellishments.

Doesn't it look a whole lot different using the  Forever Greenery DSP?
