Lovely Lattice CTC #210

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. We have some new crew members joining us this year, so it will be fun to see their creations on the CASE-ing The Catty Blog Hop. You are with Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. This week the design team are focusing on the SALE-A-Bration Catalogue, which shows products and projects made with SAB items, combined with Annual and Occasions Catalogue items. SALE-A-Bration runs from 3rd January -31st March, and for every $90 ordered, you can add one of these limited free items to your order.

My #1 pick from the SAB was Lovely Lattice. The flowers displayed on the oval 'doily' are begging to be coloured using your favourite medium. I chose Stampin' Blends in retired Pink Pirouette. As I write this, the light shade is on Clearance Rack for $3.25. It really doesn't matter what colour you choose when you are only giving the slightest hint around the edges of the petals.

There are no sentiments with this particular stamp set, but a very sweet, single bloom and a line of overlocked stitching. Better Together is one of those more pricey stamp sets, but it is always useful with a sentiment and something for the inside for most events. I particularly like to send a handmade condolence card, its just that extra personal touch, but it helps if they are already-made ready-to-go when news like that comes along.

This image is upside-down going by the picture in the SAB catalogue (page 15) but it can actually be turned anyway you like. After CASE-ing the card below, I couldn't bear to cover any of the flowers over, and chose to use the large white space for my sentiment.

Do you think you'll join us for the challenge this week? CASE anything from the SAB catalogue , take a picture and link to our Facebook page here.

You may have come to me from Elizabeth Gross but if you are starting here you can continue on to Julia Quinn. Lucky me, being sandwiched between these two lovely, Talented Queenslanders!!!
It's a big blog hop this week, everyone is keen to start the New Year right, plus you'll meet new crew members as you hop around. If you can leave a comment to say hi, they'll be very happy.
