Sketch #10 With the Great American Stamping Show

To help inspire my crafting I'm following along with the Great American Stampin' Show as they use the sketches from the catalogue as inspiration. This week it is sketch #10 and as usual, you do not have to follow strictly to the same formula. Use the sketch to inspire, and don't forget to send the cards you create.

For this post I have shared a basic interpretation of the sketch, alongside a stepped up version.

Adventurous Sky was the chosen stamp set for card one, teamed with Take to the Sky DSP. This could be ideal for those tricky masculine cards so take a look at this suite on page 36-37 of the annual catalogue.

This is an exact copy of the measurements on the diagram, and luckily there are three sizes of stamped plane and the middle one was a good fit for the square.

The smallest plane was stamped inside along with 'happy birthday.'

Again, for card two, I have used the Take to the Sky DSP for the background. However, the Trusty Tools DSP has made a reappearance in the Clearance Rack for only $8.70 for a 12" X 12" pack of 12 sheets of double-sided paper and how easy is it to fussy cut the images from this paper to make a masculine card.

Inside a sentiment from Happiest Day, sits snugly beside a hammer. Trusty Tools is a current stam and die set which you can check out on pages 80 & 87.

SHOP:

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

I have been an active Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 14 years, and thanks to my wonderful team, I am at Silver Elite level. One of the joys of crafting is sharing it with others, so I hold monthly classes both in my home and in the community. Do get in touch if you have questions about classes or Stampin' Up! products.
