Hello Cupcake CTC #212

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. This week the design team are focusing on the SALE-A-Bration Catalogue, which shows products and projects made with theSAB items, combined with Annual and Occasions Catalogue items. SALE-A-Bration runs from 3rd January-31st March, and for every $90 ordered, you can add one of these limited free items to your order.

My pick was the very cute Hello Cupcake stamp set on page 6 of the SAB catalogue. This card is based on the top centre card in mint macaron with a pink cupcake. I'd already used this set to make samples for a Beginners class #simplestamping on 14th & 15th March. You can check that out here. I like this stamp set for a number of reasons.
  •  There are 10 photopolymer (see through) stamps, so you can see where you're placing stamps. Good for beginners.
  •  Free to arrange things in different ways, with separate stamps for icing, base & sentiments.
  • It's a great set to make cards for kids and teens
  • Kids and teens like to use this type of stamp

This is my stepped up version of the card for the avid stamper. The Subtle TIEF was used on the front of the card after the small flowers were stamped. Two sizes of the  NEW Stitched Rectangle Framelits were used and the cupcake was stamped onto the white piece. This sentiment is part of the Hello Cupcake stamp set too.

For the sentiment inside, I pulled Picture Perfect Birthday from the shelf. 'Treat Yourself ' seemed to suit both the cupcake and the font of the SAB stamp set. Picture Perfect Birthday has a number of great birthday sentiments. A few flowers from Hello Cupcake helps to tie it all together and I couldn't resist the fancy border from Amazing Life.

Won't you join our challenge to CASE the Sale-a-bration catty? We would love to see your creation.

Next along on the hop this week is the wonderful Rose Packer.
