Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.
Peaceful Reflection features on page 158 of the catalogue, and it was the stamp set I received for prize patrol at April Onstage. It is a challenging stamp set for me, I couldn't see the possibilities with it so I needed to CASE The Catty to get my creativity happening. One of my team loved these and my other samples so much that she has added the stamp to her shelf.
The reflection is made by turning the stamp over and stamping lightly. How clever is that?
The blues and greens in our new colour palette are so varied and exciting now, so I stuck with them for these projects. Because there are no sentiments included in Peaceful Reflections, I used 'hello' from Accented Blooms (page 19) and the Tailored Tag Punch - so easy!
Colorful Seasons has this lovely sentiment above. You Make me smile has been stamped onto coloured card and cut with the Stitched Shapes framelit. We'd love you to CASE the Catty too, and share your creation on our Facebook page.
You may have arrived from Elizabeth and now you are heading on to the lovely Rose Packer

Two lovely cards!! I must try that reflection technique.
ReplyDeleteOh I totally love these colours together too. And the reflection technique is so so clever. Gorgeous cards and you’re really shown it off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous colour combo, Rachel. So fresh and pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Rachel - and good on you for inspiring one of your team to acquire this set. It's hard to stamp with a set that isn't your natural choice but you've done a great job here. Fabulous tip about the reflection technique thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is a challenging set but I love what you have done with it Rachel. I love the colours and what a great idea with the reflection. Must try that. :)
ReplyDeleteLove what you've created Rachel, and your colour palette. Thanks for the reflection tip too!
ReplyDeleteRachel, I love the reflection technique and I love the colours you've used on both cards.
ReplyDeleteLove your colour combinations Rachel, such pretty cards x
