SAB CTC #161

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.

With CASE-ing the SALE-A-Bration Catty, we aren't restricting it to any particular pages. However, I can see no good reason to start anywhere but the beginning and I've picked page 5, two out of three of the cards pictured at the bottom of the page.

This embossing folder, Garden Trellis is a favourite of mine, so I didn't hesitate to choose the same one, but I changed to Wisteria Wonder, even though I do love Pool Party. The Sweet Sugarplum tinsel is in the new Occasions Catalogue paired with gold. The red and silver were popular at Christmas, so I'm sure these two new colours will be too.

There is a pack of 6 inch square glimmer paper on page 37 of the Occasions Catalogue in three colours, Lemon-Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and I guess it might be Powder Pink. This is the softest, prettiest shade of pink and I cut some flowers from Eclectic Layers Thinlet and Rose Garden Thinlets. I thought they made a cute little bunch beside the sentiment and label from Rose Wonder.

To finish, I tucked a Christmas doiley, which I've coloured pink, just for fun.

For the second CASE, I chose the same colour as the catalogue, Sweet Sugarplum. I echoed the circle, using the Starburst Punch, because punches are so quick & easy, and so was stamping this little bird. It comes from a new stamp set, Petal Palette which has a lot of images and also a lot of sentiments. The narrow Textured Impressions Embossing Folders are from the Petal Passion Suite and come in a pair. The floral one in the catalogue is beautifully detailed, but I used the other vine-like one on vellum for something different.

A scrap of DSP cut with a label die from Petals & More Thinlets, and stamped with one of the sentiments in Petal Palette. That ornate little piece behind the 'thank you' label is another die in that set and I've used it a bit, because it is so pretty.

My youngest son bought me four of these sweet china Christmas ornaments and they also inspired my card.

Now, we want you to CASE the SAB catty and share here on our Facebook page. Don't forget to say which project you've CASE-d.

Then,  make time to pop on over to see the lovely Angela
