Only a week ago I made a card using Kinda Eclectic and I posted it in a plain version and then with
rhinestones added, which I'd tinted with my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities. I had spoken in that blog about adding some of the new In Color sequins when my order arrived, but I became impatient and went with rhinestones.
It has taken a week for my Big Brown Box (BBB) to arrive, it must have taken the scenic route and I have unpacked a lot of gorgeousness this afternoon. Instead of adding to the original, I've CASEd myself, and made a Shimmery White/Blushing Bride/Calypso Coral version - with sequins!
Latenight Stampers is a new challenge site for me. Their challenge calls for clean & simple - and bling it up!
That sounds pretty good to me...
Then there is Stampin' Celebrations challenge - talking fireworks, camping and s'mores. I don't think camping is on the radar while it is winter in the southern hemisphere, I don't even know what s'mores are, so let's go fireworks and birthdays. A card for a pink-loving, bling-loving friend with a birthday at the end of the month (not sure if she follows my blog) but she might guess it's for her, just from those few clues I've given already.
I added a Happy Birthday to the front, from the stamp set Remembering Your Birthday and inside is its partner stamp, Today Calls for Something Pink with Sprinkles on Top. The other stamp sets are Work of Art (dots) and Kinda Eclectic.
We have a couple of very cold days coming up, but my dear husband & I are heading to the coast for a couple of days.(Not camping!) The fire will get lit the moment we arrive, and I don't think that I will be venturing out for much. Taking my Blendabilities and some stamped images with me, to practise colouring.
Have a great weekend
Rachel
