Happy Birthday Laura

I've made a very quick card tonight for an 18th birthday tomorrow. Well, it is never quick really is it? I've agonised over whether there was too much pink, and then my son, who has a diploma in graphic design, suggested breaking it up with a touch of blue.

That did make a difference, perhaps a layer of Sky Blue in among those pink layers would have been a plus too, but it was all adhered by then, and I have enough experience to know you cannot separate layers once they've been attached.
That was the first time I've used the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder, Isn't it gorgeous? I'll be using it a lot more, that is definite!
It is past my work-night bedtime, so I must head off to clean my teeth, and snuggle into my pillow.
Always glad of a sketch to help me along, thanks to Narelle at Freshly Made Sketches.

Goodnight to you too.
Rachel
