I've been lucky enough to earn this stamp set already, so I was keen to play around with it. For this card, the Stamparatus came in handy, and when there was a bug in each corner, it seemed like fun to use primary shades to colour. I used the Stamparatus for the little bugs too, but if I did this again, I would stamp around the square, as so many were covered over.
I wanted to use a wobble disc under a lady bug but the ones I had were larger than the bug, so it went under the sentiment in the middle instead.
For this next card I've included SALE-A-Bration DSP, which I brayered with Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana and where these colours meet, it creates an apricot shade, and green too.
I've included all the big bug images, and I fussy cut them after colouring. I've since received the co-ordinating dies in the post, but I couldn't wait for them to arrive.
This might make a cute birthday card for my grand-daughter as she celebrates her 7th birthday soon.
Another amazing set in the SAB catalogue is the Power Of Hope Bundle. There is a 7 piece stamp set, paired with a Stone 3-D embossing folder, which requires a spend of $180 to earn.
It seemed a happy match for the Magnolia Lane DSP. The images were each stamped onto an oval of whisper white, and coloured with Stampin' Blends.
Additionally, the lady was stamped onto one of the smaller prints of Magnolia Lane paper, and the kimono was fussy cut. It's just like making paper dolls.
The pergoda was simply stamped and coloured. I love the way the roof curves up so elegantly.
