CTC#371 CASE the Colours of 'He's The Man DSP'

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. You might have come from Sandra's blog, and her bottle full of flowers. Now you're with Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.

The colours are listed as Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand & Soft Succulent. I begin by getting out the ink pads and thinking about possibilities. Focussing mainly on Soft Succulent suggested plants, while the Cajun Craze suits terracotta pots, so Plentiful Plants was pulled from the shelf.

Home & Garden is in the mini catalogue but sadly, hasn't made it into the Annual catalogue, so we sadly farewell it at the end of June. It's staying in my craft room though, because we have so few stamps and dies relating to homes, gardens, men. It provided a ladder, trowel and gardening gloves for this weeks card.

The sentiment, from Home & Garden, has been pruned! It actually says "Thanks for helping me grow". You don't always have to use the whole sentiment, just mask it off with tape, ink up, carefully remove the tape and stamp.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

Let's check out what the lovely Julia Quinn has made this week. Just a hint - it features kitty cats.

Colour Creations - Coastal Cabana

Our feature colour this week is Coastal Cabana, in the subtles range and one of my favourites. I'm sure there will be lots of inspiration shared on this blog hop, so make sure you spend the time checking them out. We are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart.

Coastal Cabana looks great with red, and I added some accents in Poppy Parade and a splash of green foliage.

What's Cookin' and the Bloom Where You are Planted DSP are such a match made in heaven, I can't help playing with them.

The brick wall and the fussy cut plant are both from the DSP, but on the inside of the card I pulled out a couple of stamps from Plentiful Plants.

Next talented team member on this blog hop is the lovely Tina Gillespie.

Colour Creations -Cinnamon Cider

Our feature colour this week is Cinnamon Cider, an In Color with a tangy bite. I'm sure there will be lots of inspiration shared on this blog hop, so make sure you spend the time checking them out. We are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart.

In Good Taste and Bloom Where You Are Planted are two DSPs which complement each other beautifully. The discount paper promotion has just ended, so I hope you stocked up on these lovely packs from the annual catalogue. Often, the pattern paper can do all the work for your card.

A little bit of stamping using What's Cookin' and Plentiful Plants, using a lovely selection of greens show Cinnamon Cider to it's best advantage. There, we have a simple, sweet note to send to a friend.
