CTC 464 - CASE Your Favourite Retiring Bundle

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

It is always bittersweet as a catalogue ends and a new one begins. I was disappointed that Notes of Nature hasn't carried over with its grid pattern, leaves and the sweetest birthday salutation. My inspiration comes from the card on the far right.

I like the large circle, patterned paper behind and a banner carrying the greeting across.

The birdhouse from Country Birdhouse is considerably larger than the couple of leafy sprigs and a flower from Notes of Nature so it wasn't possible to position the circle toward the right.

Country Woods DSP is one of two paper packs paired with this suite of products and it features quite strongly on my card.

Some other leaves from Country Flowers filled out a little more of the background too.

Now it's your turn. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.

The talented Julia Quinn follows this week at CASE-ing The Catty.

All products used to make these cards are Stampin' Up! and are available in my online store or contact me to find out more details.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

Notes of Nature Birthday card

There is another suite which caught my eye featured on pages 40-43 of the mini catalogue. In an effort to economise I ordered Notes of Nature bundle and Nature's Sweetness DSP.

This birthday greeting in Notes of Nature is delightful, and I used my supplies to make a birthday card for my friend. The only trouble was I had no twine with me and so I rummaged in my sewing things and found a thick sewing thread to use!

Those leaves are very elegant too, and quite easy to colour with Stampin' Blends.
