Birthday Lillies

It's too late to earn this stamp set with the lovely Lasting Lily, but maybe you already have it in your stash. This colour combination has really tickled my fancy, so clear and bright - even happy!

Lasting Lily doesn't include a birthday sentiment amongst the wonderful assortment of sentiments, so I borrowed one from Beautiful Bouquet. 

The smudged background is a stamp in the Lasting Lily pack, which really adds some interest and texture to this card. Sometimes it pays to have a 'grounding element' like this.

Flirty Flamingo makes a lovely Calla Lily, and I coloured the stamens with a little Daffodil delight on a sponge dauber.
