I spent a little time this weekend putting together a set of cards using Mosaic Moods Specialty Designer Series Paper. Each pair of cards uses one piece of paper, showing both sides. This paper has one shiny, textured side, and the reverse is matte.
These are all quite basic cards using patterned paper and a sentiment, some with a few more embellishments. Stampin' Up! have a special on Designer Series Paper this month where you order 3 packs and the 4th one is free. Unfortunately, this one is not included in the promotion, but you would be well equipped for paper-crafting if you ordered.
The bird above on the left, has been cut from another piece of paper, you'll see where it came from in the picture below.
I think you can almost see the way I've finished the inside of the cards with layers and strips of the paper used on the front of the card. It is such lovely paper, but I'm glad I was brave enough to cut it up. Now which pack will I open next?
