Pretty Pink Bella Twist & Pop Card

Although all the Stampin' Up! products used for this special birthday card have retired, I do hold on to favourites to use for commissioned cards. Lily is only turning one, so her interests are limited, but she does like dogs, and what's not to love about the beautiful Bella & Friends? I think that was the very first stamp set designed in conjunction with a Million-Dollar seller, and from memory, the demonstrator had a little dog like this one.

All these sweet images are from Bella & Friends, and Pretty Kitty worked really well with it too. The card is a Twist & Pop card, and you can find plenty of tutorials online if you put that title into a search bar. A card like this is just a bit more special for a momentous birthday.

The Large Number Framelits retired too unfortunately, but again, I'll keep on using them until we have a substitute. On this image Stampin' Blends have added a bit of colour, but for the inside images, I have only used Lovely Lipstick and Mango Melody on a few items. The paper is still current though, the gorgeous Bird Ballad DSP on page 166 of the Annual catalogue and because it is from a suite, you know that the papers will all mix and match perfectly.

I'd love you to choose my online shop to purchase from, and use the Host Code when asked at check out, & I will send you a gift, along with a handmade card. The items listed below were used in my projects above, and link to that item in my online shop.

You've Got A Friend CC#39 Poppy Parade

You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator based in South Morang, and outer north-eastern part of Melbourne. Thank you for stopping to see my work. I love to stamp (and other crafts too) and have loved being a part of Stampin' Up! for 8 years now. I hold classes in my home studio, demo at parties, coach my team and love life!!! Art With Heart is one of the larger teams in Australia, and it is a great community to be a member of. I'm happy to talk to you about any aspect of the company if you'd like to chat. But now for the business at hand - a colour challenge!

This blog was initiated by Catherine Proctor, a valued member of our Stampin' Up! family, as a way to share the colours in the range, both the old ones and new. Poppy Parade was an In Color when I joined Stampin' Up!, and while it is a nice, bright red, I was still a bit surprised when it made it into the revamp of colours. If you would like to check out what the rest of the team have made using Poppy Parade, click back on Catherine's link, at What Cathy Made.

It was quite easy to feature Poppy Parade with a sheet of paper from Needlepoint Nook DSP as the starting point of my card. Bella and Friends was designed by one of our Million Dollar Sellers, one of the first I believe. It features this very cute dog, which reminds me a lot of my son & daughter-in-law's dog, Ruby. I used a number of the Stampin' Blends to colour the images.

The Circle Tab Punch co-ordinates with Tabs For Everything stamp set, but this time I used a heart punched with the Dog punchpunched from card and then covered with glue from the fine-tip glue pen. I do it when I know I will be leaving the craft room for a while, as it needs time to set. Then it looks just like an embellishment.
The birds are from a Paper Pumpkin pack, and you may ask, "How did you get that in Australia?"
Answer is, I have an American demo friend, who was happy to bring me a few things I wanted when she visited recently. There is a really nice parrot holding a heart, already in Bella And Friends, but I was itching to play with these new stamps.

Pretty Kitties

Today we are revisiting two adorable stamp sets, Pretty Kitty and Bella & Friends. It is always fun to play with these two, but I added in the new Swirly Frames, to give a 'cartoon' effect. There are no end of combinations you can make with this set up.

This is just a single image from Pretty Kitty coloured with Stampin' Blends. My old black cat Jasper has been sick for a few weeks, but despite being at death's door 11 days ago, the vet has treated him, and sent him home so we can have a few last precious weeks with him. Well, they said days, but he is still eating and interacting with us, so we are very grateful for any extra time, and have sent a thank you in the mail.

You can shop with me in person or through my Online Shop. When you use the Host Code (below) I share the Host dollars with you with gifts of product. Need a Holiday catalogue? If you have an Australian postal address, I can put one in the mail for you too.

I wanted to share a picture of two of my grandchildren having fun on a stay with Grandma, crafting new bookmarks.

Heart Of Christmas Blog Hop Week 24

I love joining in with the other team members from Art With Heart whenever time allows, and I have something worth sharing. Recently I was reading the blog of Angie Juda, also known as Chic And Scratch. In 2015 she became a Stampin' Up! Million Dollar seller and was able to design a stamp set to celebrate. Her stamp set is Bella and Friends, which I love and have used for many occasions. Like many Stampin' Up! demonstrators, Angie shares her creativity freely and the gift bag she made had Bella wearing a Santa hat! Oh, that's way too cute!

Santa's hat is from the Santa's Suit stamp and fits Bella's head perfectly. Santa's Suit is another of the very cute stamp sets on offer in the Holiday catalogue, and you are able to dress Santa in a couple of different ways. It is also available in a bundle with the matching dies for a 10% discount on the total, or the dies and stamps can be purchased separately.

At the beginning of October, for 10 days there were some new-release stamps at a discount too. They were part of suites which included patterned paper (DSP) which was on special for the whole of October. If you want to be kept informed of these promotions, make sure you sign up to either my newsletter or your demonstrator's newsletter. Demonstrators get to take advantage of these specials too, so I bought the Brightly Lit Christmas stamp. I might not have bought it otherwise as I haven't any plans to use it in a class, although if you'd like an in-home party, we could make one of these cards with your guests.

I didn't want my cat-loving friends to say I was favouring dogs, so I've made a feline version too. This stamp set is Pretty Kitty, and I do love this one too. Which is your favourite, the dog or the cat? And is that only because that is your preferred pet?

The link below is our team leader Claire, if you'd like to check out what the other Art With Heart team have made for week 24 of the Christmas blog hop.
