Lemon- Lime Twist, a returning In Color is our colour of the week for week 30. We are very spoiled for choice when it comes to green shades at the moment, and this is one of three 'sharp, acidic' greens.
With a self-challenge to use a neglected set of stamps or dies, I turned to Quiet Meadow. As well as some lovely, stamped images, including text backgrounds, it has wonderful die cut foliage and butterflies.
Granny Apple Green is another of the acidic greens which provides a pleasant contrast to the brighter Lemon- Lime Twist, used here to provide some dimension to the sprigs.
Lemon-Lime ribbon is one part of a duo of ribbon, released with the Zoo Crew suite.
Something Fancy is a stamp set of sentiments only, very useful to have on the shelf.
It's a shame I haven't been able to capture the detail on the butterflies, but you can see the edging on the Basic Border die, one of 6 in that set.
Next we are heading to the blog of my friend Rachel Woollard. I'm sure you'll love her project.

Happy crafting,
Such a pretty card, Rachel. I love the combination of greens (acidic - what a great descriptor for them!) with the fresh, crisp, white elements. These products are sadly neglected in my craft room, too ... you've inspired me to get them out to have a play. i love what you've made.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Rachel. It's great to revisit neglected stamp sets. I love the composition of all of the elements on your card and the mix of Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful Rachel. I love your card with your colour combo. Gorgeous use of the Quiet Meadows background stamping and die cuts on the Basic white panel bordered by one of the Basic Border edges. xxx
ReplyDeleteLLT creates such a wonderful freshness, I stop and take a deep breath as I enjoy these projects. This card has featured lots of different products and they come together beautifully. I do love the border dies (must get them out again) and the stamping behind the die cuts is perfect.
