CTC #441 CASE an Annual Catalogue project and Give a Christmas Twist.

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

The challenge this week is to use the Annual catalogue, select a project and put a Christmas twist to it. I chose the centre card below from page 16 and mimiced the rows of scalloped pattern paper using the very modern Merry Bold & Bright DSP.

I'm sure that without the catalogue to inspire I would never have thought of this card but immediately I reached page 16, I knew exactly how my card would look.

There are three greens listed on this paper, so the tree could have been cut from any of those. Granny Apple Green stamped with Shaded Spruce was my choice here using Merriest Trees bundle for all the stamping and die cutting.

It seemed appropriate to use Real Red for the tree stand to show it up on the Poppy Parade Fa La La La DSP. Because it was modern paper, I gave the panel of tiered papers a jaunty twist instead of placing it square to the base.

We love for you to share your projects using the challenges. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE letting us know which card or project you've CASE-d.

Next CTC design Team member joining the hop this week is Peta Stephen
