This week I had a couple of face-to-face classes, always fun and friendly. I had an extra pack for each of the cards and after class finished I decided to have a play.
This card pack was originally quite a different card using Bottled Happiness, the brick embossing folder and Fresh Freesia, Pretty Peacock & Wild Wheat ink.
The Chic dies had been used on another card, but this technique kept the die cut piece in place. I decided to use a stamp from Artistically Inked to stamp in Lost Lagoon, since the sentiment was from that stamp set.
Blending ink onto DSP was the technique included in the 2nd card, which I had demonstrated on this piece. The Fan palm leaf was precut for the spare pack too, and I had a few spare clay vessels on my table.
Usually, I wouldn't be as efficient getting cards made up like this but I was feeling very organised on Thursday.
If you are interested in taking a class in South Morang VIC 3752, the next ones are 16, 17 & 19 August.
