CTC #397 CASE Texture Chic DSP

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. This week I really wanted to create something using the Aspen Trees Dies. I've had them in my craft room for a month or two and hadn't used them. I'm on a mission to use all unused supplies before they go and retire on me!

I had the gold paper from the suite and used that behind the trees, which I cut using thick Basic White. I die cut leaves using the Aspen Trees dies again, one in Soft Succulent, the other Evening Evergreen.

Next, I pulled the Season of Chic stamp set for the sentiment, and a splodge stamp, & using the remaining colours 'tastefully' stamped on the white. A bit tongue in cheek there, as it does remind me of how the railway station waiting rooms were painted in a Soft Succulent 'splodge-style' a long while ago!

You may have noticed CTC will no longer have a weekly winner, because in our eyes you are a winner for participating!
