Colour Creations - Week #28 - Melon Mambo

The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This week we are sharing Melon Mambo.

After finishing classes using Brightest Beauty, I wanted to use the background stamp and the 'happy retirement' sentiment. Some Melon Mambo ink was blended onto the background and drops of water added to lift the colour in places.

Honeybee Home has a lovely array of flowers in the stamp set, so it was just a matter of stamping some out and deciding on the colour blends to use. I hadn't used it very much of late, and it's great to go back to annual catalogue offerings.

Next team member sharing their talent is Di Furniss

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Cathy Proctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

  1. Beautiful card, Rachel. That gorgeous soft background is fantastic with the water drops, blending and stamping behind the flowers. Loving the placement of the sentiment and the twine too!

  4. I never would have described Melon Mambo as a delicate colour, but somehow you've managed to create a delicate card using it! Your pretty flowers are fantastic, and I love the background you've layered them over.
