Colour Creations - Week #24 - Granny Apple Green

The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours. This week we are sharing Granny Apple Green.

Brightest Beauty features a lovely branch of Wattle flowers, well-known in every state of Australia. Early settlers built crude homes from wattle.

It seems a perfect image for cards to overseas friends, and so I added the large greeting from Simply Fabulous.

For a card to my grandsons on the Sunshine Coast, I added in the kangaroo from Count On Me. When we visited Australia Zoo with them, they'd been very impressed with the kangaroo allowing them to pat it, and how soft its fur was.

Next Art With Heart team member is Kathryn Ruddick

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Tina Gillespie and she will have the list of all participants.

  2. Great cards Rachel! That wattle looks real! And I love the addition of the kangaroo on the second card. So, so tempted for the wattle stamp set to fall into my shopping card! LOL

  4. Beautiful cards Rachel and I love the green and gold combo and a nod to Aus. Both gorgeous but your second card is cute too and a lovely reminder of your grandsons meeting a kangaroo.

  6. Oh wow, Rachel! I've been "umming and ahhing" about this stamp set but your card might just have tipped that bundle into my basket. I love the addition of the kangaroo for your grandson.
