Colour Creations - Petal Pink

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. This is week 35 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and as we use the colours alphabetically, we are up to Petal Pink.
This colour tones really well with Flirty Flamingo, and I added Pale Papaya and Mango Melody for some added zing. It really is a sweet shade.

Color & Contour is a favourite stamp set, and the Scalloped Contour dies are a 'must-have' for anyone who has a die cut machine. Why not order them together, since it means a saving of 10% off both items.

While seeking inspiration for my card, I did refer to the Stampin' Up! annual catalogue, and way down the back is a picture illustrating the dies, which I pretty much CASEd, with a few tweaks here and there.

It really allows every part of this bundle to shine.

Next we head to the lovely, talented Tina Gillespie

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, CathyProctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

  1. Rachel your colour combination is so pretty and I love the composition of this card. The little border strip of the Party Pattern DSP is just perfect with the scalloped border die.

  3. I'm not a fan of Petal Pink, but I really like how the other orangey and pinky colours you used, help to lift it, Rachel. This is a very pretty card!

  4. What a soft and pretty card Rachel. I just love the white embossed flowers on different coloured card stock and the pop of bright DSP peeking from the scalloped edge. Very pretty!
