CTC#337 Step Up A Mini Catalogue project

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

This week we are stepping up a project from the mini catalogue and 

the gingerbread sketch appealed to me. I liked the DSP on an angle, and included the circle of DSP as well, but it was covered by the dahlia.

Layers were the first addition to step this project up, and texture embossing came after. Next some sponging of ink around the edges, and skinny strips of the Be Dazzling 6" X 6" specialty paper under the DSP strip really emphasises the slant it is on.

The stamp was used to fill in colour on the flowers and leaves, but before the stamp was put to paper, some darker colour was added with sponge daubers. A sentiment from Celebrate Sunflowers was used on this card.
