Using Patterned Paper 'In Symmetry'

Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (the beautiful pattern papers) are really good quality double-sided papers which usually co-ordinate with a stamp set, and maybe dies too when you're lucky. In Symmetry doesn't have any dies, just a border punch. Sweet Symmetry DSP is similar to folk art on one side of the papers, but more subtle on the reverse.

The DSP gives you a starting point with colour co-ordination, and you know you can use any of the papers and they tend to go together happily. This style above is a favourite of mine for showing off papers. It is a basic card front size (10cm by 14cm) sliced diagonally from corner to corner with opposing triangles flipped over. It's an easy but lovely way to show off two sides of the paper.

The other style is a mix of the papers cut 4.5cm by 6cm, and shuffled about to get pleasing combinations of three.

These cards were dressed up a little more with extra stamping, heat embossing and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The large flower from In Symmetry fits the Stitched So Sweetly label rather nicely.

That's just two ways to cut your patterned papers to make lovely cards using one pack of paper. There are many other ideas you can use, and twenty different packs of paper to choose from in the Annual catalogue and the mini June-December catalogue.

Maybe you are wanting to stock up on crafting goodies? There has never been a better time than now. Select $235 worth of Stampin' Up! products from either catalogue and pay only $169, including shipping, catalogues and business supplies. Then you get to add a bundle which you choose yourself too and add to your starter kit.
With the most expensive bundle being worth $104.25, you are potentially able to order $339.25 worth of products and still pay $169 total.

I would love to have you in my team, most of the crew would consider themselves "shoppers with a discount" (discount starts at 20%) but you can take this business further if you wish. We have a private Facebook page where we share what we are making and get to know each other a little better. Even if you have been in my team (or someone else's) before and have dropped, there is still room for you now. Reach out if you want to know more and check this page for some more questions answered.
