Colour Creations - Blushing Bride

Are you enjoying the Colour Creations Blog Hops?  I am enjoying creating for them, along with other Stampin' Up! demos from the Art With Heart team. This week the colour is Blushing Bride.

It was time to try out Hand Drawn Blooms although it ended up being just the sentiment that was stamped! This is a stamp set with a lot of possibilities, and my June Class ladies loved making this card. The Macrame 3D Embossing Folder gives such a lot of lovely texture in the background too.

After cutting out the big floral bouquet with the die, the shimmery white card was dampened before water colouring with diluted ink. This has the effect of softening the colours, creating this sweet, feminine look.

Pastel pearls and some ribbon lightly gathered on the sewing machine are the finishing touches here. Now it's time to see my friend Andrea Sargent's project. It's amazing, as usual.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

  2. Rachel, this is SO pretty! I love the Macrame-embossed background, but even more I love the beautifully watercoloured die cut floral bouquet. The ink splatters on the sentiment banners are a lovely touch.
