An extra-large card was needed for a friend of my son after breaking his leg on Sunday. Like my son, Paul is a parkour instructor, and fell awkwardly, breaking his lower leg in two places. Fortunately another member of the crew is a paramedic, and took care of him until the ambulance arrived.
I'd been wondering why I had bought 'Back On Your Feet', but luckily it was on hand, because I think this is very suitable.
The card is large enough for a number of people to write in, and these cards are handy for retirements, big birthdays or any of those occasions. Measurements are 1 x A4 sheet of card scored across the middle at 14.8cm. For the Whisper White insert, I scored at 14.5cm, trimmed the excess, and took a little off the other edge as well.
The envelope is a C5, available at your newsagent or post office, with a little stamping for decoration.
Stampin' Blends are great for colouring images like the turtle, and I used the new blending brushes (available early December for demos, January for customers) on the background.
I've held back a little when it comes to decoration, keeping in mind that its a fella who is receiving this card.
