Christmas Gleaming CTC#244

Welcome back to another week of CASE-ing The Catty. The crew is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, create for Craft By Post classes, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. This week we look to the Holiday Catalogue cover for inspiration, and there is certainly plenty to choose from.

I've CASE-d the snowman card to the left of the 3 cute tags, but I bet you can hardly tell! Although I used a Stitched circle to ground my images, just like the original, there is also a wider Stitched rectangle with the sentiment which almost created an arched window effect.

I couldn't bring myself to skew the pretty paper this time, since it is the more formal Brightly Gleaming, not playful like the Let It Snow suite. Saying that, the stripes are the reverse side of that navy and copper foil paper, so there is lots of variety in that paper.

The baubles and holly are included in the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and the holly is super-easy to stamp, colour and cut with snips, while there are two punches in the bundle to punch out the baubles. Those punches also co-ordinate with a 2nd stamp set in the catalogue,  Memories Of Home but it's the Christmas Gleaming stamp bundle you receive the 10% off with.

The next crew member on the bloghop is Shannon Kissane

Why don't you join the challenge and case something from the front cover of the catalogue. Share it here on our Facebook page

  6. What a beautiful card and I agree the DSP looks great straight as it makes it look more formal. Love how the circle and sentiment have formed an arch.
