Daisy, Daisy CI#59

Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.

Isn't this just the prettiest, softest colour scheme ever? I just love these sweet colours and decided to tie it in with Daisy Lane, using a little bottle I have as further inspiration. I am very partial to blue and Seaside Spray would have to be a favourite of mine. It is one of the new InColors, so will be current until June 2021 and it is available in card, ink pad, ink refill, Stampin' Marker and Blends - so many choices!!!!!

This is a third daisy included in Daisy Lane. It doesn't have a matching punch or anything, but it is very pretty. As I stamped on thick Whisper White in Smokey Slate, I rotated the image slightly each time. The background was coloured with Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends and I purposely used the darker one around the flower and didn't blend it in.

Two medium daisies were stamped, punched and placed at the edge of the labels. The sentiment is a new one from a stamp set in the Annual catalogue, Welcome To The Team. Those pieces were hand trimmed.

Next stop along this hop is our guest designer, Denise Buetler. Denise lives in Western Australia and was a winner in a recent challenge. Please pop over to see her AMAZING project!

A Little Wild For Baby CI#55

Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. What an amazing array of colours in this picture, and our challenge was to use 3 or more of them. Your challenge too, if you choose to take it. There will be a link at the end for you to share your project.

I managed to use all the colours except Rich Razzleberry, and it really wasn't too difficult to include a little of each. A Little Wild is retiring at the end of May, but it has been a favourite of mine for baby and kids cards with the cutest elephant, bear and lion, featuring a front and back view. There are dies to cut these out as tags, but I cut the little tag loop off, and adhered it to my card front.

Recently I had a quick lesson on brayering a background, so I have implemented that on this card too. Stitched Labels provided a circle with just a little more, for the sentiment. Don't forget to order A Little Wild if you need it, there is a list of the items used to make this card after the signature.
Next along on this hop is the amazing & talented Jackie Aitken

You will find the link to our Facebook Challenge here. You don't need a blog to enter but if you do, you're welcome to link your blog post.
