Finally I opened my Make a Memory Kit from the Stampin' Up! kit collection to create a layout for my eldest grandson's 14th birthday. He is only a matter of months away from celebrating his 18th so it really was about time.
The kit contains a lot of 12' X 12" paper for the pages, plus stickers and popouts. These helped create a more masculine layout, which I find to be a challenge with most scrapbook kits.
When there was a shortfall of embellishments I took the centre banner from Everyday You & Me kit and hand cut the gold ones from paper left from that kit too. The camera was a random piece I had stamped and fussy cut for another project.
The strips top and bottom were provided in the kit and to make them go further I cut them in half down the centre. The frame , world globe and graph paper were also included, the memories and more was loose in my stash and the candles an XOXO are from other Stampin' Up! ephemera packs.
