Come To Gather Birthday Cards

Following on from my last post for CASE-ing The Catty, I decided to share some more cards using the Come To Gather DSP, just because it is so versatile, and not just for Autumn. I found a card I'd made a while back using a range of pretty floral papers and decided to CASE my own card.

The design is a lovely way to really show off the lovely colours and papers, and stamping can be minimal. With careful preparation, this card is quite good for a 'Make & Take.'  Not sure what I mean by 'Make & Take'? It's the card you and your guests make when you host a Stampin' Up! demonstration. Have you ever thought about having a crafting afternoon with friends. If you're in the northern suburbs of Melbourne - say 25km around Sth Morang, we could see if we could arrange a mutually suitable time for your party.

A very simple stamp and punch set which comes in a cute metal tin was the greeting I chose for these cards, and the 2-colour effect is easy. Stamp once in the base colour, clean off the stamp and re-ink with the 2nd colour before stamping out again and trimming with scissors.

Inside the metal box are 6 stamps, a punch, one Night Of Navy plus one Grapefruit Grove inkspot and a block to use with the stamps. Add a pack of notecards & envelopes and you're all set to produce fabulous cards!

Each one of these cards had a slightly different trim, and in the end my favourite was the wood grain card. I just love the Leaf Punch and Sprig Punch. Such an effective look. These are a nice style of card for any occasion, with the patterned paper doing all the heavy lifting. Can you imagine a Christmas card like this?

I like to reward you for shopping with me and using the Host code. That helps gather all the smaller orders together into a 'party' and I share the Host benefits with my customers, proportional to the amount spent. There is a spot at the online shop order form where you are asked if you have a Host Code.

If you'd like to have a catalogue party to group all your friend's purchases, get in touch beforehand and I will set you up with your personal host code and explain how it works. If you feel inclined to treat yourself to $250 worth of Stampin' Up! - just go ahead and place your order online and when you reach $250, you will be earning 10% in Host benefits which you spend before you close the order. Again, ask me if you're not sure.
