Let's Taco Sale-A-bration CTC#111

Welcome back to another Sunday Blog Hop with CASE-ing The Catty. You may have arrived from my lovely friend Kelly , but if you started here, don't worry, just keep on hopping from blog to blog, using the link at the end and you'll get to see what everyone on the crew has shared this week.

Sale-A-bration always gets everyone excited, from demonstrators through to loyal customers. I have mailed out the Occasions and the Sale-A-bration catalogue to anyone who has registered with my shop in the last 2 years, but if you haven't received one, please let me know as I may not have a current address for you. Sale-A-Bration is the reason I joined up nearly six years ago, because I wanted it all - and Sale-a-bration is a good time to join. You still get your starter kit, $235 value in products but pay $169 and free shipping on this order, but during SAB, Stampin' Up!® let you choose two EXTRA stamp sets up to a value of $179!!! How good is that?

This week, to celebrate Sale-A-Bration, I decided to start at the very beginning - the front cover - and CASE the cute card up on the top left. This stamp is called Tasty Trucks and it can be yours for free when you place a $90 order. SAB is only till the end of March though and if you'd like a party to help you earn even more Hostess goodies, then let me know and we'll try to work out some dates.

I originally used a tangerine background for this card but I wasn't too comfortable with how it looked, so I've switched it to Daffodil Delight. It's a Taco Truck and underneath it says, 'Let's Taco About How Awesome You Are.' Not sure if a 7 year old will 'get' that, but never mind! I grabbed another SAB set Any Occasion, for the 'happy birthday' banner. This little boy is dairy-free due to excema and asthma, and although cup cakes can be made dairy-free with a bit of thought, for fun I went with the tacos.
I loved the Truck mounted on a circle and the two strips under to ground it so included those details on my CASE.  I do have a confession to make. I had a little ooops when I was stamping tassels on the banner, and had to grab a small splatter stamp from Timeless Textures to cover up the accident.    "A mistake is an opportunity to embellish".

The reverse of the striped paper is this lovely banner, so on the inside we have banners at the top and some more stripe at the bottom. Very pleased with how that looks!

The sentiment is from Balloon Adventures and I know I will be using that stamp heaps this year. If you purchase the Balloon Adventures Bundle, page 4 of Occasions Catalogue, you will immediately qualify for one free Sale-A-Bration item. It might be hard to choose which one you'll get! You can check out a pastel version of the Tasty Trucks here.

  6. It's taco time muchacho! Does your family have nonsensical sayings? We say that to each other often - totally crazy and no context, but it's fun to say! Your awesome card just reminded me of that silliness!! Love the beautiful colours - so fun!!! Kelly x
