A World Of Thanks-CTC83

Catalogue image page 42
I'm back again with CASE-ing The Catty and this week we are checking out pages 38-43 of the catalogue, and we're saying thank you. The card I've CASE-d (copied and shared everything) is not a new stamp, and I have already used it a lot. However, it is always fun to see a new idea to inspire. I decided to ink up A World Of Thanks with the Bermuda Bay Ombre Stampin' Pad (page 180). Flourish Thinlet Dies have been having a workout through my Big Shot today. I made a bunch of cards with all different Flourish pieces along with sheet music DSP, for a special customer order. There is a lovely ornate detail to these dies, and the paper releases from the dies quite easily with the help of the die brush. The die brush is a 'must have' if you are keen on using dies like these, or Swirly Scribbles thinlets.

After placing the strip from Flourish Thinlet Dies across in place of washi tape, I tried a number of the flowers and leaves I'd cut earlier, but decided this one looked best. When I cut extras of thinlets, I keep them in a spare stamp case. You can find three sizes of these on page 183 of your catalogue, which reminds me, I need to add one of each size to my next order too.(You get four cases at a time). The other thing that these are very useful for, is keeping partly finished cards all together, or even for taking supplies away for a crafty weekend, they pack so neatly!

A twist of gold metallic thread is secured under the banner, which has a 'thanks' from Cottage Greetings. There are some Bermuda Bay sequins scattered over the card to finish it off. Thank you for reading my blog post and I hope I see you again next week.

Next you'll be visiting Julia Quinn who always has a lovely project to share

We'd love you to join in the challenge to CASE a card from the birthday section of the catalogue and link your blog post to our page here. You don't have to make a birthday card, unless you really want to, just CASE a project you see on pages 10-25. Change up the colours, use different stamps anything goes. We are looking for some new designers for the CASE-ing The Catty crew, so if you're an Australian or New Zealander Stampin' Up!® demonstrator, this might be fun for you.

Cheers, Rachel
