Just Add......A Wreath! JAI

We have a day off work for a horse race today in Melbourne, not sure if that makes us the envy of
everyone or just the laughing stock. If  getting glammed up and spending the day at the race courseisn't your 'thing', perhaps hanging at home and getting inky will suit better. It sure made me happy today and I added another card to my stack of Christmas cards. I love the challenges at Just Add Ink and Tina's challenge to 'just add a W' is wide open to interpretation and lots of cheeky fun!

Peaceful Wreath is one of my favourites among the new Christmas stamps in the Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalogue. Its so easy to stamp a wreath, cut it out with the dies and lightly colour with markers. I used mainly Rich Razzleberry, to match the ribbon,  for these berries with the odd Real Red one. The sentiment comes in two parts, and its photopolymer for super-easy placement, and i used two colours for added interest.

I took some inspiration from pictures in the Holiday catalogue, showing off the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and rubbed some ink to emphasise the lovely texture, before tying the piece of cotton ribbon with a casual knot right through the middle of the wreath.

Hope you're having a wonderful day too
Cheers
