Watercolored Dove CQC#308

It was very relaxing colouring the Dove of Peace, which was already heat embossed in white and sitting on my table waiting for inspiration to strike. These colours at ColourQ were perfect for what I had in mind. I know everyone will enjoy creating with this colour range.

I wasn't involved with Stampin' Up!®  when Kiwi Kiss was one of their colours, but Lucky Limeade is very similar and I have both card and ink left over, because I liked that shade. I squeezed the ink pads so some ink was deposited into the lid, and using an Aquapainter, it was easy to fill in parts of the image in the two blues and a green. They've turned out very soft and subtle.

Peaceful Wreath is another of my favourites from the Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalogue and I used two sentiments from the stamp set to finish my card. After cutting the dove and supporting layers with Square Framelits, it then demanded this card become a square one, with a green banner cut with the Banner Triple Punch.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I'd love you to say hi
Cheers,
Rachel
