Tickled Pink CTS106

Case This Sketch have put up a challenge with a border to tempt us, and I needed some quick and easy birthday cards, so pulled out Flamingo Lingo this afternoon. It's the first time in ink and I was so keen to use it when I bought it - love flamingos! This stamp set helps support Ronald McDonald House, in whatever country you purchase it in, with $3 of each purchase being donated by Stampin' Up! to RMH.

I had a vision for this border, I'm not certain that I have the exact result I was after! I used a small stamp with three lines from Painted Petals, and tried for a naive cross-hatched border. I used the lines on the grid paper to line it up. Perhaps a three -year-old would have done a better job!

I do have to apologise for the darkness of the photography, my little point and shoot obviously leaves a lot to be desired, but my 'good' camera battery was charging 'cos hubby and I are about to go interstate for a short break.

Very excited to get away, as we have had a fairly tough week working rather long, physical days.

Cheers
Rachel
