Logan's 5th birthday isn't until Valentine's Day, but while I am on holiday,and have new stamps to play with, it seemed like a good time to start on one of the six grandchildren's birthday cards! This stamp is actually a Valentines stamp, but the minute I saw it, I resolved to use it for birthdays. All my grandsons love dressing up, and
pirate is such an easy dress-up to put together.
I had already coloured the image when I spotted the
Mojo Monday sketch, (after a friend of mine used the sketch herself). I decided it was perfect for this cute image. It was fun to colour too, even though I'm not so good at it. I figure the practice will help me improve! I am looking forward to more relaxing times with
Blendabilities when I head to the coast with my husband for a few days. He doesn't like me filling the car with craft stuff, but I can fit my
Blendabilities and some stamped images into a plastic container, so easy to transport.
