I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas....

After seeing quite a few samples of Christmas Baubles made using Penguin Place stamp and SAB freebie Textures & Frames, I had to make my own version.

Really quite quick and easy using Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Smoky Slate. Heartfelt Wishes took care of the sentiment, with this lovely 'Merry Christmas'. There's only 18 days of SALE-A-Bration left, so time to get your order in, and snag 1 or two exclusive items.

Your orders are very much appreciated, no matter how small or big, every little bit helps me to meet my minimums, and keep on creating. Hopefully you are inspired by some of the projects I share, and want to make your own. My online shop is open anytime and delivery by tracked Australia Post takes 5-10 days.

Colour Creations - Daffodil Delight

While I was creating another card with Penguin Place, it occurred to me that there was a way to update the rubber band technique. An oldie but a goodie where you put rubber bands around your block and stamp away to create a random background. The curvy stamp, representing a hill, was perfect, stamped in various shades. I tried it first on the Stamparatus, but found hand-held on a long block was a better result.

Repeat stamping with one of the sentiments from Penguin Place was achieved by using the Stamparatus. Firstly I stepped one lot using Coastal Cabana, and after repositioning the card. it was possible to stamp between using Balmy Blue. The 'be merry' part of this sentiment was left off, causing the message read 'Be Cool, Be Chill'.

An additional greeting was stamped with Biggest Wish onto a circle surrounded by a Daffodil Delight scalloped circle.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the lovely Rosa Leyden is sharing with us this week, come on, let's check it out!
